Sacramento Area Mustang Club
The Sacramento Area Mustang Club was founded as an alternative club to allow owners of all years of the Ford Mustang to be members. In fact, Mustang ownership is not required to become a member of the Club, only the desire to enjoy and promote the Mustang, and to join with other members in the Club activities.
The Club organizes many solicial activities, driving events, picnics, dinners, and our one big car show - the Mustangs & Fords in the Park. The 2011 event was our best attended and highest revenue show to date. With the proceeds, we support organizations in area including, but limited to: The California Auto Museum; the Ford A.S.S.E.T. Program; Operation Backpack (for kids who might otherwise not have one) and the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society.
The Club schedules local drives and long distant trips which very in interest, cost and organizational level, sometimes K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid)events are the most fun! Along with driving events & car shows, we also try to put together a breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner type of "get together" once a month - it's not always about Mustangs - well, yes it is...
